WARNING: DO NOT LIFT PUMP OUT OF THE BOX USING THE MUFFLERS.
THIS COULD CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE SHUTTLE.

1)

The FA 50L base plate is designed to be mounted with two 3/8" or two 10mm socket head cap screws spaced 2.000" apart.

2)
Remove the base plate from the pump by turning the two cam levers (38) to the unlocked position and then lifting the pump off of the base plate (35).

3)
Install base plate (35) into work station by tightening it down with two 3/8" or two 10mm socket head cap screws, screwed into previously drilled and tapped mating holes at a 2" hole distance.

4)
Slide the bottom manifolds (30) onto the four mating pins on the base plate (36) and then turn the two cam levers (38) to the locked position.

5)
Remove the desired liquid inlet (34) (one of four) and outlet plugs (34) (one of four) with the spanner wrench supplied with pump. Screw in the liquid adapter fittings supplied with the pump. Caution: fitting ports are not NPT, they are only compatible with White Knight supplied fittings. Installation of fluid lines are intake on bottom (one of four) and discharge on top (one of four).

6)
Hook up 3/8" PFA tubing and fitting to back of shuttle valve (8). Air supply must be 1/4" minimum ID (1/4" unrestricted airflow) back to supply source. Pump can be run in this manner at pressures of 20-50PSI. For pressures above 50PSI see the following "Air Assist" instructions.

Air Assist Instructions

1)

Remove Air Assist cap (15) with the spanner wrench supplied with pump. Then remove the two standard operation plugs (14) with a regular screwdriver. Replace them with the two air assist plugs (13) that are stored in the plug storage cavities on the pump body (1) located above the top muffler and below the bottom muffler. The standard operation plugs can then be stored in the plug storage cavities in the body for future use.

2)

Replace the Air Assist cap (15) and then hook up 1/4" PFA tubing and fitting to the Air Assist cap (15). Air supply must be 1/8" minimum ID (1/8)" unrestricted air flow) back to supply source. This Air Assist air supply can be teed off from the main pump supply but it should then be regulated separately. This Air Assist air supply should be maintained at 50PSI. The main pump air supply can then be run at air pressures from 20-100PSI.

WARNING

·
Required air flow for the FA50L is 1/4" minimum orifice (unrestricted back to the source) supplied at the Shuttle valve at the back of the pump (opposite muffler side).

·
If the pump is to be operated at over 60psi, a secondary air source must be supplied to the pump and separately regulated at 50psi to shift the pump (see installation instructions). If the pump is operated at over 60psi without supplying the secondary shift source in the proper way, damage could occur in the pump which may not be covered under warranty.

·
Any or any combination of the four ports in the top two manifolds may be used for outlet by removing plugs and installing connectors provided by White Knight. Likewise, any or any combination of the four ports in the bottom two manifolds may be used for inlet by installing connectors provided by White Knight. THESE PORTS ARE NOT NPT OR ANY OTHER STANDARD. Attempting to use connectors other than ones supplied by White Knight will damage the pump. Such damage is not covered under warranty.

·
Do not operate any White Knight® pumps above the " air supply/fluid temperature limitations" (see chart for specifications). At room temperature, maximum air supply pressure to a FacilitatorÔ pump is 60psi without air assist or 100psi with air assist.

·
Minimum operating pressure is 20psi.

·
If the FacilitatorTM pump is being operated at within a differential of 80% head pressure to air supply pressure, the air assist mode must be used to prevent stalling (see installation instructions).

·
BE FAMILIAR WITH WHITE KNIGHT FACILITATORÔ PUMP INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.

·
White Knight® pump installation requirements may vary from requirements of other pneumatic pumps.
